Dr. Andrew Boshra joined our practice in December 2024 and brings both clinical excellence and a warm, multilingual approach to patient care. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 2020 and is fluent in English, French, Greek, and Arabic, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients.
Dr. Boshra is passionate about making people smile—both in the office and beyond. He regularly participates in mission trips to provide dental care to underserved communities around the world. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Boshra enjoys painting, traveling, playing tennis, and expressing his musical side through the cello. His dedication to service, art, and health make him a valued member of our dental family.
Anousheh has been working with Dr. Smithberger here in our Towson office for 14 years. She started working with Dr. Smithberger after completing her dental assisting program at Community College of Baltimore County. In addition to working four days a week with Dr. Smithberger, she has taken the opportunity to work with other dentists and specialists in the area to widen her experience. Anousheh is bilingual in English and Persian. She enjoys assisting and providing dental services to our patients to help them obtain good oral health. Anousheh lives in the area with her husband and has two children. Her daughter lives in Columbia, MD and her son lives in San Diego, CA.
Hi, I’m Jamie! I’ve been a dental assistant for 18 years and truly love what I do—especially getting to meet new people and help them feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also a proud twin mom, a big Halloween enthusiast, and when I’m not at work, you’ll probably find me on my Peloton or sipping an energy drink. I believe in bringing positive energy into everything I do and look forward to treating you!
Michelle joined Dr. Smithberger’s team in March 2025 and brings 3 years of experience in the dental field. As the newest member of our team, she is committed to making each patient feel comfortable and cared for during their visit. Driven by a strong passion for dentistry, Michelle is working towards her goal of becoming a dentist and hopes to begin dental school soon. Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Becca is one of our dedicated Registered Dental Hygienists and has been a valued team member for the past three years. Graduating in 2018 from CCBC, Becca’s passion for oral health and patient care is at the heart of work. She enjoys building strong relationships with patients, and is committed to ensure each visit is as comfortable and positive as possible.
Outside of work, Becca is a proud mom to two little girls. She is also passionate about volunteer work, and enjoys meeting new people, always eager to connect and learn from others. During her down time you may find her enjoying a concert, unwinding making pottery or seeking out the next thrilling rollercoaster ride.
Angie has been working with Dr. Smithberger here at our Towson office for 20 years. She has been practicing dental hygiene for 26 years since she graduated from the University of Maryland Dental Hygiene Program in 1999. Prior to working with Dr. Smithberger, she worked in a periodontal practice for several years. She truly enjoys helping her patients achieve optimal periodontal and dental health through periodontal therapy and encouraging them as they strive to improve their home care. Angie lives in the Hereford area with her husband, three children, and dog.
Brittany is the friendly face behind the front desk and the heart of our dental practice. As Office Manager, she brings over 11 years of experience ensuring our patients feel welcome, cared for, and supported from the moment they walk through the door. Known for her compassionate nature and attention to detail, Brittany takes pride in creating a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.
Outside of work, Brittany is a devoted wife and proud mother of two. She loves building meaningful relationships with patients and finds joy in seeing their confident smiles. Her warmth, professionalism, and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.
Sharlene has been working with Dr. Smithberger and his team at the Towson office since July 2023. She began working at the dentist office after spending many years as a stay-at-home-mom raising her four children and babysitting for friends and family. You can find Sharlene at the reception desk eager to help and assist you in anyway. Sharlene lives in Lutherville with her husband, children, and her dog.
